Let your mom help you out

Mothers of both the bride and groom often feel left out when wedding preparations are done by the bride and her friends. The bride can ask her mom or her future mother-in-law to help her out in preparing her bridesmaids gifts. If the bride is planning to make handcrafted gifts, she can take her mom or her future mother-in-law to buy the things she needs.

She can make her bridesmaids jewelry like a necklace using Swarovski crystals if she is handy or buy small bags and fix rhinestones or colorful gems to make the bag look chic and classy. Your mom can help you while you do it or she can do some of the gluing herself if she is up to it. This is also a good time to bond with your mom and your future mother-in-law and get to know her even better.

Ask her opinion of your work and ask for more suggestions. Remember that if you ask your mom and you do not think your bridesmaids will like her idea, tactfully decline the idea, but be ready to compromise as well. If your mom or mother-in-law would rather not help you out in preparing your bridesmaids gifts, thank them still and give them other task to do at the wedding.
