Start Your Seating Plan

To begin your wedding seating plan, the first thing you will need to do is to know how many chairs each table will have. Ask your wedding reception facility if they can map out a seating plan for you to show you where the tables will be placed at your reception. You will also need to finalize everything two weeks before the wedding so that you will still have plenty of time shopping for your bridesmaids gifts.

There are plenty of ways to arrange your guests and you can make it unique and interesting for your guests as well. You can arrange to seat people with similar likes and interests or your can put the same people with the same age bracket. You can also arrange a table for family members who do not see often especially if they like each other.

Keep in mind that each table should have an even number of guests. And to prevent conflict, arrange separate table for divorced couples and their respective family members.
