The Host in a Bridal Shower
Hosting a bridal shower can be confusing if you are going to consider all the etiquette rules and guidelines for a shower. But as a general rule before you finally receive your pearl bridal jewelry from the bride, you will need to create your own guest list for the shower.
To be able to know who will attend, you will have to ask the bride who she wishes to attend and spend some time with her. Keep in mind that those people who are attending the shower, are also included in the wedding that is why you will need to ask the bride about this. Most bridal showers have more than 30 guests, so you do not have to worry if the bride has a large family since you will not probably be able to include everyone.
After knowing her invites, now comes the part that the host will need to plan the place for the shower. If she only wants to include a small number of friends, you can just have it in a home of a friend or even at your own home. If you have a lot of guests, you may consider renting a place. Just always consider the budget and plan it well so that you will not have any problems with hosting.
