Controlling your Wedding Tips to Your Vendors
It may seem that tipping your wedding vendors can be a bit tricky just as how you selected your own bridal crystal jewelry earrings. You do not want to spend that much, but at the same time, you do not want to look like you are stingy. Do not worry though since there are some ways to properly give them the tips that they deserve to have.
Ask your vendors first if the total bill included some service charge and gratuities. If not you can allocate 15% to 20 % of their total bill and transportation for their tip. These are for your limo drivers, bartenders, wait staff, and event managers.
You can ask your hotel at the same time not to put tip jars and dishes on the bar, coat check, and the restroom counters because this will make guests feel obligated to give them their own tips. But what you can do is to tip the coat check, parking lot and restroom attendant in advance. All of those hardworking attendants should receive $1 to $2 per guest.
