Doing an Italian Wedding
If you are from an Italian decent or you want just honor your ancestors although you haven’t even been to Italy, you can still do an Italian wedding just to experience your own culture. You are still going to need your wedding crystal jewelry earrings so just have them and wear them for the wedding.
Italian weddings are all about the Mass if you are a Catholic, but if not you can still have an Italian wedding. You can concentrate more on the reception itself since a lot of the tradition happens at the reception.
The reception starts with the guests giving a toast to the bride and groom as soon as they come into the reception hall. Followed by an antipasto course and more different, but delicious Italian meals of meats, pastas, soups, salads and desserts that is supplemented by an overflowing wine. Then, their wedding dances will follow. The wedding will be over with the bride and groom breaking a glass or vase to symbolize their happy years together.
