My Mom and Her Jewelry

Since I was young, my mom usually gives me jewelry to wear. I remember the first gold ring she gave me when I was just eight which I lost after some time and the countless times she trusted me to wear different styles of gold necklaces.

The great side about my mom was that she usually says that when I grow old, she would pass her jewelry to me, which she really did little by little starting when I went to high school. I took care all of the jewelry she passed on to me even until now. She loves jewelry and probably that is the reason why I also love bridal jewelry myself.

The style and history of each jewelry she gave me was part hers. Of course my mom still has a lot of jewelry since she doesn’t go out without wearing even a pair of pearl bridal earrings, but I know that there will come a time when it is going to be my turn on passing heirloom jewelry to my own kids.
