Different Ways to Wear Your Wedding Ring
The reason that most of us wear our wedding rings on our left hand ring finger is because of the influence of the Europeans. They have started the use of this and even the Greeks long ago believed that the vein in the left hand ring finger goes directly to the heart. That vein was called Amori. But because of modern medicine though, this theory was found false. However, Eastern Europe and some parts of Europe like Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands wore their wedding rings on their right hand ring finger.
Some wear their ring on the left, others on the right; some even wear their ring over their neck on a chain. Other wore their ring together with their engagement ring. And because of tradition and sometimes because of comfort, a wedding ring are worn first and should nearer on the base of the ring finger then followed by the engagement ring. People are truly meticulous even on where they will wear their ring since this is the only wedding jewelry known to be used daily and even forever by most married couples.
