I love Destination Weddings
Although I didn’t have my own destination wedding, I can say that I am totally jealous of those brides who did have one or in the process of preparing one. I really wanted to have my own destination wedding, but actually I only had a five month preparation for my wedding. It was all a rush and everything had to be done in just a short span of time. Meaning that my wedding was also expensive in a way!
It was so difficult to find a reception because everyone was already booked for the day we wanted. The reason for the rush was because of my mom and my sisters who already live and work in a different country. They wanted to have a vacation at home, then my fiancé, now husband took the opportunity and propose to me.
I couldn’t say no since it was also a great opportunity for my family to see my own wedding. They rarely come home so I was also excited of the chance to share my great day with them. But at the same time, it ruined the chances of travelling abroad and have my own destination wedding.
Still my wedding took place in a garden where the flowers were really blooming. My family was all happy to see how happy I was with the guy they know and trust. I look beautiful and totally elegant with my wedding dress that took three months to make while my wedding jewelry was all blending with it. The day was still perfect.
But still, if my husband and I will renew our vows, I will definitely go abroad and celebrate our union by saying our vows again on a floating raft.
