Not Inviting Kids
Nowadays, more and more couples want to have an intimate wedding that focuses on them and not on their guests. They want to show their happiness and love for each other and how great the wedding is. The bride looking beautiful wearing her crystal wedding jewelry while the groom is reflected by joy as he sees his bride for the first time.
It would be difficult to focus though if as the bride walks down the aisle, a kid starts to cry or as the bride and groom takes the first down, a child is making a scene. Because of these reasons, more and more couples are deciding on not inviting children at their wedding.
Of course kids at the wedding can bring joy to the event, but because there are a lot of preparation needed to accommodate them such as preparing their own set of meal, planning for their own fun activities so they won’t get bored. It is most practical then not to invite them.
Before going on with this decision though, better discuss this with people who are going to be affected by your decision and know their opinion about the matter. The good side about this though is that most guests understand the situation and they do not insist this problem that much to the couple.
