Preparing the Wedding Invitation
To properly prepare your wedding invitation, first determine the wedding theme. The color, the formality and the style of your wedding will also reflect your wedding invitation. There are so many different colors and style for every wedding. What you can do to make things easier for you is to bring a fabric of the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses since the color of your bridesmaids dresses reflect the theme of the whole wedding.
As you go to the shop where they will make your wedding invitation, show the fabric so you can easily select the style of your invitation. Some stores even create ribbons with the same color of your bridesmaid dresses so you can also make that if you want.
Be careful though with your choices and do not include styles that do not have any connection with the theme itself. Do not just choose your invitation because you find them cute and stylish. For example, if you find cute wedding invitations in lavender and they have bikes on it, but your theme is pink and your reception is indoor. Does the bike make sense? Choose a style that says what to expect at the reception. Like you can choose a design with birds on it if it is outdoor and your guests may actually see some birds on the sky or they are just flying around the reception.
Always look for some connection that will say this will be the wedding. You can even include your wedding jewelry at the front and your guests will expect a beautiful bride will walk down the aisle.
