PRIORITIZE YOUR WEDDING BUDGET
Before you and your groom fuzz and become totally frantic about your total expenses for your wedding, have a long talk first and discuss with one another on how to set your wedding budget.
Here are some ways on how to effectively plan your wedding budget.
- Start saving. Now that the two of you are already engaged and is now taking the next step to a new life together, better save as much as you can before you plan your wedding. You probably have your savings meant for your wedding; better separate that savings of yours to a different bank account so you won’t be able to touch your own personal savings.
- Although tradition says that the bride’s family should pay for the reception but because of our current situation of our economy plunging down under, talking to both the bride and the groom’s parents will help everyone, especially the bride’s family. And nowadays, most parents from both sides do help out with the bride and groom paying as well.
- After you have the actual figures, make a list on where to put your funds. You can allocate them on how much you want to spend for your flowers, the guests you are going to invite, your bridal jewelry that you are going to wear, and more. It is also important to separate your funds on which are more important to prioritize to those you can leave for a while. Like your funds for the venue itself or the cost of your wedding gown and bridal jewelry.
Be smart when you are in the process of your wedding preparation since you don’t want to be in debt after your wedding.

Groom and Bride (soon to be) should have a long talk, if its really worth to spend money in a wedding and that will end up in a divorce. They have to make sure that they are really into each other.
