Before bridal jewelry even became popular, the history of jewelry has long been part of many civilizations. They have also been used as part of bridal jewelry even in the past and have been part of each culture as a symbol of power and wealth.

Ancient Egyptians have shown their expertise in gold production and different jewelry designs that showed their belief system. Greeks on the other hand, have used jewelry as a symbol of greatness and they usually wore them on massive pieces set with gemstones. Europeans also share their own history with jewelry since crowns made of gold with gems embedded on them are made for their queens and kings.

Although these days, it is not common for high officials to wear robes and other adornments since people may find them a bit crazy and struck in time. These days, however, top of the line adornments can still be worn wealthy folks, sport stars, Hollywood stars, and musicians.
