The Story of Custom Bridal Jewelry

Custom bridal jewelry mostly started during the 1700s, when rich people duplicate their jewelry using paste or glass stones. Although during the 1800s, the growth of the middle class were emerging and so different levels of jewelry was made available using fine, semi-precious and base materials. Fine jewelry of gold, diamonds, fine gems, such as emeralds and sapphires were still in demand, but the most common type of custom jewelry for the middle class at that time was made from rolled gold attached to a base metal. It was commonly set with semi-precious gems such as an amethyst, pearls or corals and was created to be more affordable. Another type of custom jewelry that was made popular at that time was made of glass stones and base metals so that they will look like gold. Custom jewelry during those eras was intended to be passed down to future generation.

Jewelry nowadays, is still not that different from the past. We still use the same materials as what was commonly used even with custom bridal jewelry. Fine jewelry and semi precious jewelry are also available for all women who wish to have them. Most purchase this jewelry since they know that it will not ruin their budget especially if the bride is on a tight budget.
