An increasing number of wedding couples are deciding to try something unique on their weddings today. Some people look for unique wedding jewelry, while others alter the traditional march in the aisle and other fresh ideas that was never before seen on weddings.

It sure is very romantic to hear your partner say those special words in a unique way, but some people are not gifted to write a good piece. So before you jump on creating your own version of wedding vow, there are things that should be considered.

Perhaps you have seen a wedding couple singing their wedding vow, and you find it very romantic that you plan to deliver your own wedding vow in the same manner. But before you proceed, ask yourself. Am I a good singer? Do I have a good voice? Well, you know what you can and cannot do, so if you are not a singer, then do not try to sing your wedding vow. You do not want to embarrass yourself in front of your partner and the wedding guests, so better try plan B.

Plan B is writing your wedding vow from the heart. Write what you really feel rather than writing down all the reasons why you love someone. From pulling the words out of your heart, you can come up with interesting stories that you can share to your guests during the reception.

You may also try to deliver it in a poetic manner. Some have chosen to use a song lyric or verse in the Bible that has special meaning to the wedding couple. Be sure you do it nicely that it won’t sound exaggerated. It is also a good idea to appoint a representative to stand and read the special words in front of the guests.
