Where Should I Wear My Wedding Ring?
Because our wedding ring is the most important wedding jewelry that we are going to wear for the rest of our days, it is just also important to choose the most suitable pair that we can find. And after you and your bride carefully chose the right wedding ring for both of you, now comes the part on where to wear your ring.
While it is most common wearing wedding rings on the left finger, perhaps because of its long history and influence from the Europeans and it spread widely across the world. Although the Europeans popularize its origin of wearing the ring on the left hand ring finger, some parts in Europe do not wear their wedding rings on the left hand ring finger. Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain wear their ring on the right hand ring finger.
Some who do not want to either wear it on their left hand ring finger or on the right hand ring finger, wear their ring, on a chain around their neck to make it closer to their heart. In some culture though, wearing their wedding rings on their neck signifies that their spouse have already passed away.
