Do It Yourself…With Some Assistance

There are many things that you can do yourself for your wedding, instead of paying a professional. However, taking on such a big project is definitely not a job for just one person. It is a wise bride who enlists the helping hands of family and friends along the way.

Are you making your wedding favors? If so, it’s definitely a wonderful way that you can save money. Usually making wedding favors is fairly simple, but when you have to make 100-200 of them, it becomes a daunting task. Consider asking some of your best friends to come over to help out. Plan a girl’s night where you enjoy good food, fun, and make all those wedding favors. You’ll get them done in a much shorter period of time if you have some help.

Decorating can be a lot of fun for the wedding, but you really can’t expect to do it all on your own. Have some friends who have a good eye for decoration? If so, then ask them for some help. No doubt they’ll be happy to give some suggestions and help you actually get all the decorations put up for the big event.

So, how do you ask your friends to help you out with your wedding so that they’ll happily do it? Well, ask kindly and let them know how much you’d love their assistance and input in your wedding day. Don’t make them feel like they have to, but let them know how honored you would be to have their help.
